Middleton’s Steakhouse has a fantastic opportunity to become a Chef de Partie at our Norwich restaurant. Middletons Steakhouse has established itself as one of the most popular restaurants to eat at in Norwich, still being one of the busiest restaurants after 5 years of trading. You will typically serve around 2500-3000 guests per week with a team of 15-20 chefs.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie that can handle the demand of a high volume, high standard restaurant. If you thrive off busy services and fresh cooking, this job is for you.
As a Chef de Partie you can either work on the starter section which focuses on our cold starters/salads/sauces or our pans/fryer section which is very fast paced and is where all our hot starters and fresh fish comes from- expect to be cooking lobsters/seabass/ prawns and more!

Progression can happen very fast in Middletons for those that are hungry for it and prove they have what it takes, and in all of our restaurants we have at least one chef that has progressed right up to a management position, even a few of our current head chefs started as section chefs.
What experience do you need?
Although our menu is 95% fresh, you don’t need to have loads of food knowledge, as every dish is very simple and full company specs/training is provided.
