Middleton’s Steakhouse has a fantastic opportunity to become a sous chef at our Norwich restaurant.
Middletons Steakhouse has simple core values – serve fresh food, at high standards and have a genuine care for the guest.
The restaurant serves 2000 guests per week, all from a stunning open pass so the guest can watch the chefs showcase their skills. You will be working alongside the Head chef and other senior chefs, leading a kitchen brigade of chefs and ensuring the kitchen maintains its high standards and service.
Our menu is very easy to learn with all company specs provided, focusing on fresh, simple food.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a sous chef that can handle the demand of a high volume, high standard restaurant and be committed to deliver results in:
- Guest satisfaction
- Staff motivation and training
- Business controls
- Leading a 300+ cover service from the pass
- Consistency in standards
Middletons are looking to open more restaurants and we have learned that promoting from within is essential, therefore the ideal candidate will have plans to step up to head chef in the future although stable Sous Chefs are always welcome.
What experience do you need?
Due to the nature of the business, experience in managing kitchens delivering this volume is essential. However full company specs/training will be provided.
