We’re stepping into spring with a refreshed menu of new dishes and classic steakhouse favourites. Of course the mixed grill, surf and turf and burgers remain. Now there are new dishes and desserts to try, a wider selection of vegetarian and vegan options and also a Gin Bar. There’s something for everyone

This new addition to our starters has been described as ‘absolutely delicious’…
Our chicken wings are marinated in Siracha then coated in a homemade spicy breadcrumb prepared by our chefs. They’re deep fried until crispy, and served with a cooling sour cream. They do come with a spicy kick – and a chilli icon next to them on the menu.
They’ve also been added to the Set Menu, where diners can select up to three courses for £9.95 on Monday-Friday (12-6pm) and Saturday (12-5pm).
We’ve introduced a Gin Bar…
As there are so many stunning gins now available, we’ve introduced a Gin Bar to the drinks menu. It features 10 carefully selected gins, ranging from well-known brands to more up-and-coming flavoured varieties.
Hendricks and Tanqueray 10 are among the more recognisable names on the list, whereas the likes of Pin Gin based in Lincolnshire and Puerto Indias Strawberry Gin are certainly worth trying.
Don’t worry though if gin isn’t your thing. There’s still a great selection of wines, beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. All have been carefully selected to complement our dishes.
Steaks and mixed grills remain at the heart of our menu…
We may have added a few new dishes to the menu – but we haven’t lost any of the Middletons Steakhouse classics. And all our delicious meats are prepared at our very own butchery in Middleton, Norfolk.
Diners still get to choose between a sirloin steak or a rib-eye on their mixed grill; the surf and turf can be served with a half lobster; and our selection of steak burgers is still available. The ‘Little Calves’ children’s menu is also much the same.

More options for vegetarians and vegans…
There’s always been vegetarian dishes on our menu, and we’ve prepared a vegan option for diners who prefer not to eat meat.
After listening to customer feedback, we decided to introduce even more variety to our menu and widen the selection of vegetarian and vegan meals.
New to the menu is the Goats Cheese and Veg Tart, which features onion marmalade, courgette, butternut squash, tomato and goats cheese on a puff pastry.
The Mushroom Wellington is mushroom, chestnut, butternut squash and spinach in a cream sauce wrapped in shortcrust pastry. There’s also delicious Veg and Halloumi Skewers and Macaroni Cheese.
For vegans, the Pesto Gnocchi is served with green pesto, sun blushed tomato, olives and spinach.
It means that, particularly for larger groups and parties, everyone can visit Middletons and enjoy a delicious meal whether they’re meat eaters, non-meaters eaters or have specific dietary requirements.

If you still have space for a dessert, there’s so much to choose from – where do we start?
Black Forest Gateau may be a classic from the 70s but we felt it deserved a revival. We’ve modernised its look, making the most of those delicious layers of chocolate sponge, black cherries and cream.
The Baked Berry Yoghurt was very popular when it was one of our ‘Specials’, so we decided to place it permanently on our dessert menu. Also new to the dessert menu is Baileys and White Chocolate Cheesecake and melt-in-the-middle Chocolate Fondant.
