Our Peterborough restaurant is now open
Our largest restaurant to date is now open in Peterborough.
After three months of renovations and an investment of £1 million, it was officially opened on Friday September 8 2017 by Councillor John Fox, the Mayor of Peterborough.
He said: “I want to welcome Middletons Steakhouse & Grill to Peterborough, and this is an asset for our city. It’s great that a company like this has opened in Peterborough.”
He added: “Peterborough is a growing city, it is a fantastic city – and this restaurant will add to it.”
Councillor Judy Fox, The Mayoress of Peterborough, Councillor Chris Ash, the Deputy Mayor, and Mrs Doreen Roberts, the Deputy Mayoress, also joined the civic party for the ribbon cutting reception.
Diners in Peterborough can now enjoy the Middletons’ menu which focuses on serving quality meat prepared at the restaurant’s own butchery in the village of Middleton, near King’s Lynn, Norfolk.
The Peterborough restaurant, in St Peter’s Arcade, Bridge Street, has the capacity to cater for up to 240 diners.
Middletons Steakhouse & Grill launched in July 2011 when it opened its first restaurant close to its butchery. Since then, it has opened seven steakhouses, employs 350 people and has an annual turnover of almost £15 million.
Stephen Hutton, Managing Director of Middletons Steakhouse & Grill said: “We’re delighted to now be open in Peterborough, which is currently the largest restaurant on our portfolio.
“The welcome we’ve received so far has been fantastic, and we hope diners enjoy everything our steakhouse offers.”
The Middletons menu that has proved so popular in Norwich, Milton Keynes, Leicester, Colchester, Watford and King’s Lynn includes a range of prime steaks, a signature mixed grill, seafood and vegetarian options, along with freshly-made classic desserts. For families, there’s also a popular kids menu.
